Life has become increasingly complicated.

While being human has always been difficult, we are living in a time of unusual, prolonged stress and emotional suffering.

Trauma, stress, loss, shame, anxiety, loneliness, and depression – none of us cope well with such challenges in isolation.  Sometimes compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based professional support is best.

Whether online or in-person at his Durham, NH office, Phil Harford, LICSW offers compassion-focused, relational talk therapy modalities to adults.  And for those who so desire, mind-body approaches such as EMDR, the Flash Technique, clinical hypnosis, guided imagery, ego state (parts therapy), yoga and somatic therapy, mindfulness meditation, and/or Deep Brain Reorienting may be incorporated.
